I forgot my password. What should I do?

No problem. All you need to do is click the login button on the homepage and open the link that says “Forgot my password.” Enter your email, and we’ll send you a new one. We highly recommend changing your password frequently to keep your account secure.

Is there a possibility to see all my previous trades and transactions?

Of course. Once you are logged into your member account, you can see all details related to your account under ‘my account.’ You will find current, open trades as well as previous, closed trades. All deposits and withdrawals are visible In the ‘Transaction History’ tab.

Do I need to put down a deposit to open an account with Jones Mutual?

No. Simply click on ‘open an account’ and start exploring the site. Become familiar with the platform and the possibilities it offers. Use the Education section to learn more about s and train your skills. We do not require any membership fee.

I am unable to carry out a trade. What could be the reason?

There could be many reasons. First, check the following:
The trading time for the specific asset you are trying to trade s on. Assets have different time frames in which they can be traded. Make sure you are within the trading time for the asset.
Next, make sure you have sufficient funds in your trading account to open a on the asset.

What is a long trade?

When entering into a () you have two options. If you believe the asset price will rise, you open a long trade or long position by clicking on “buy”. This means you will profit from an increasing asset price. To close a long trade you simply click “sell.”

What is a short trade?

This is the second possibility for a (). If you expect the asset price to fall, you will choose this to make a profit on it. Simply click “sell” to open a short trade or short position. To close a short trade, click “buy.”

Do s have an expiry date?

No. You alone decide when to close your trade. Ideally, you will do so at a point when you have profited and just before you expect a reverse in the chart. The only time the trade will be closed automatically is, when you preset a limit, such as ‘stop-loss’ or ‘take profit.’ In this case, the trade will close, when the limit is reached.

Which assets can I trade s on with Jones Mutual?

Jones Mutual offers the following asset categories: Commodities, stocks, indices, currencies, and cryptocurrencies. All assets are listed with additional information on the asset index board.

Why is there a difference in Buy price and Sell price??

Even though you are not trading the asset itself, the prices are based on its ask price and bid price on the market. Ask price is the price at which the broker is willing to sell an asset, the bid price is the price he is willing to pay for it. The difference between the two makes up the brokers commission.

Where can I find more information on s and strategies?

Right here on the website. Check out the articles for a basic understanding of s. The Education section is your coach and provides hands-on advice for different strategies and analytic methods using videos, e-books, etc.

What are the risks involved in s trading?

Every investment involves the risk of losing. s are no different. Make sure you understand the principal of how s work, before making significant investments. Since s are leveraged, inexperienced investors are prone to lose proportions easily.
We strongly advise our traders to set clear goals and limits for themselves. Start slow till you get enough practice and have gained confidence.

Which payment methods can I use to deposit to my Jones Mutual account?

Jones Mutual accepts both, wire transfer and credit card deposits.

What is the minimum amount to deposit? And is there a maximum amount?

You can deposit with the following currencies: EUR, USD, AUD, GBP. An initial minimum deposit of 250 in your chosen currency is required (i.e., $250 or EUR 250).
For maximum deposit, there is a limit only on credit card deposits. The maximum is 20.000 USD/EUR/AUD/GBP, depending on your account currency.

What is the advantage of s trading compared to traditional financial trading?

The main advantage is that you can profit on a declining price as well. In traditional financial trading, you only make a profit, when an asset price rises. With trading you can enter into a contract on a falling price and will gain your profit when this occurs.

What is the time zone the prices are displayed in?

The default time zone on Jones Mutual is GMT. Keep in mind that for the trading times indicated on this site (and any time indicated anywhere on the site), the time zone is GMT.

What do I need to do to withdraw and how much time will it take?

Nothing much. Simply request a withdrawal. You will typically be asked to verify that you are the account owner by sending in compliance documents. Please refer to the KYC procedures for more info. Processing a withdrawal can take up to seven business days.

Can I cancel a withdrawal order?

Yes, of course. During the time span between you entering a withdrawal order to the money leaving your trading account, you can still cancel. Simply contact us at support@jonesmutual.com.

What is the minimum amount for a withdrawal?

The minimum amount for a withdrawal is 50 for whichever currency your account is set. If your account currency is EUR, the minimum is EUR 50, if you specified USD as your account currency, it is $50 and so on.

Are s taxable?

That depends on your location and where you are tax liable. Some countries impose taxes, some don’t. You will have to find this out with the authorities, as Jones Mutual does not influence this.
